(E)mperial Game Day Event
April 14th, 2004
Rick and Nick Bruiser got owned. Wyldflower explains the details.

Easter has come and gone and so has the (E)mperial Game Day Event. This event was created by TheeTriForceGameMaster to compensate for the cancellation of the April 4 th tournament at Neutral Ground. This event was suppose to also be an Easter event where everyone could just come out and play some videogames for the day and relax.and that is just what everyone did. Playing games from Mario Kart, to Zone of Enders: Second Runner, Players and members of the Empire soaked up this event and enjoyed the down time to play games and mingle. People also arrived to play Dead or Alive and even Halo. Some of the people that normally come to neutral to play card games such as Yu-gi-oh and Magic heard that the games were free and came out to try them. There were lan games such as Counter Strike, Diablo 2 and WarCraft 3. While everyone relaxed and had fun another event was taking place.

T.F.G.M. was displaying videogames for everyone to watch. GamingKnight helped out by playing Super Ghouls and Ghost; a game that he hasn't played in over 4 years, in which he beat and only died 3 times. Rust! Kreymore showed off his record in Super Mario Circuit for Game Boy Advance by beating the Star track in 40 seconds. From there Triforce took over and played a series of games back to back to back. Beating every single one of them except for the last one, as time ran out on the event and everyone had to leave at 11: 00pm . He started by playing Super Punch Out; a favorite of his, and breezed through the game knocking out all of enemies in under record time. Showing stun punches and dizzying circuit bosses like SandMan, Super Macho Man, Rick and Nick Bruiser. From there, he decided to switch up and try something different and brought in Star Fox 64. Setting the game on Expert and running through it with ease. Artuo had his Laptop on him and he mimicked Triforce by playing Star Fox and Star Fox 2. Then Players actually stopped playing their games to watch Triforce as he put on a movie like style of gaming.

When Triforce was done beating Star fox he took a break before going into the next set of games that he had lined up. During this time everyone started to talk and went back to either playing games or socialized. A couple almost made out in front of everyone, no one knew what started that. (Mirage is the man of course!) Speaking on which another couple came and started playing Mario Kart Double Dash, and then a small Smash Brothers fight broke out. Then there was WrestleMania 19, another set of Halo, for some reason people just love the sound of guns. At that time we started to just take random pictures of everyone playing and then I took a picture of myself and Serenity.

Then Triforce returned. When he came back, he began to play Contra 3. Arturo then put on Contra hard corps the Japanese version. To a lot of the Gamers surprise, Triforce pointed out that he didn't know that the Japanese version had an "Energy" meter, as they were used to playing the American version with the standard contra "one touch bullet" kill. They were laughing as they felt good about themselves, for beating the game on the harder version which appears to be Contra Hard Corps for the United States . After Triforce beat Contra 3, he displayed a game that did not get a lot of attention when it first came out in America , however later in its release people started to realize the depth of a game Capcom created a while back. For his closing game he played "Viewtiful Joe".

As we started to close up, people watched this new game that they hadn't seen before as Triforce displayed a Marvel vs. Capcom, Street fighter and Street of Rage beat em up like game all at the same time. Slowing down enemies and blasting through them, speeding up and mashing up the screen which displayed seizure like colors. Zooming in and crushing the screen, shaking up the place and just causing chaos on the screen like only Capcom knows how. I quoted Arturo saying, "UHHHHHHHG! This is the best game Capcom has made in like almost 5 years. This is the game of last year." Triforce had a limited amount of time, to show as much as he could in Viewtiful Joe. Thus he raced through the game and showed us one of the most colorful characters in Hulk Davison, and up to the some shark guy that he made eat his own bombs. That character was funny, he was completely stupid. After defeating him everyone started to leave as we had to close up shop for the day.

As few remained as Triforce put back on Super Punch Out as the rest of the Empire staff cleaned up and got ready to leave. He showed that Nick Bruiser was not invincible with his step back jump down rabbit punch. A picture was caught of Triforce Super Upper Cutting him out of the air. On that note the few who remained clapped and he turned off the game and we all got ready to go home. Next week Sunday, Empire Arcadia Inc, will be hosting a videogame tournament on games such as Halo, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and a verity of games. The date is April 18 th 2004 at Neutral Grounds.
