First Gathering of the East July 28, 2004.
Empire Arcadia, Nintendo Street Team and MAGFest Summit. It begins.

Closing statements came from Gamers like Empire Arcadia's Renny Saunce; as he spoke about the diversity and open minded individuals that gamers are. As everyone started to understand what Kyle stand point was Triforce looked towards both Kyle and Troy and told everyone that these were the agents in which he was referring to. Triforce went on to say, that although these issues have been touched upon by hundreds of other gaming communities and third level gaming organizations the gamers and the organization that each represented are the pioneers of the new age of the gaming community as he pledge that their on going quest to help further develop the gaming community as a whole until it reaches his one wish that he made for the Nintendo street team; "Gaming to become a global culture."

Kyle brought to close the summit, by stating that gaming should be taken seriously like sports, for the limitations between athletes and virtual athletes are nonexistent. Any gamer can compete, and while the internet bolsters the ability to bring millions together online, the primary foundation of a community is the physical gathering of people under one medium or entertaining factor. Kyle urged that industry leaders to put their foot forward in the right direction as Nintendo is doing and invest in the gaming community.

As the Summit was brought to a close, Brendan, Triforce and the street team had a surprise for all in attendance, as gamers in Neutral Ground literately heard what was going on, they quickly rushed over to get involved with a game event that was set up by Empire Arcadia. "Name that Game Tune" was the game that was being played. Brendan would then play (NSF) Nintendo Sound Files of old Nintendo entertainment System videogames, and the first to recognize that tune and raise their hand to say the game won premium prizes from the Nintendo Street team. Over two dozen gamers stayed to play and another dozen got involved. Participants won t-shits to fitted hats, wrist bands, towels and buttons. At the same time Kyle complied together his Cube Club questionnaires, to see who was the most knowledgeable Nintendo gamer at the summit. While no real winner for Kyle question emerge due to the difficulty of the questions, at least one Nintendo Street Team member, Dieminion, and Kreymore of Empire Arcadia was able to at least answer some tough Pokemon questions. Sepia Soule: The GamingKnight, Rodey John (Rodnutz) Norman Burgess, Ako, Shen Yin, and Kreymore all got several prizes for getting most of the answers, to the point that Sepia had to be banned from the contest. At the end all participants were given game buttons.

Finally a huge announcement was made as it was a surprise by Kyle and Nintendo, that Triforce was officially inducted and to be a member of the New York City Nintendo Street Team. He was given his uniform at the summit and as everyone clapped. Shen yin came over to give him a personal hand shake and congratulated him on making the team even after it seemed that it was over. I guess the underlining message here is, no matter how much it rains withstand the pain and keep fighting for what you believe in. Congratulations Triforce, you deserve it. Everyone went downstairs where the Nintendo Street Team vehicle was out and played games from Mario Kart to Soul Calibur to Smash Bros, and took a group picture to end the day.
