As the summer comes to a close Empire Arcadia Inc. begins to close up their summer promotional campaign along with the Nintendo Street Team summer street promotion. Making there last appearance at the Pokemon Center. Triforce said goodbye to his co-works and friend, Kyle, Troy, Brea, Kenji, Ric, Jarrel, Eli, Joel, and Mike. The Nintendo Street Team city competition came to an end as the city of Dallas Texas won. Congratulations on your well earned winnings of $40,000.00. In light of this New York City still got the recognition as being and equal gaming state as the other states. The Nintendo Street Team and Empire Arcadia were able to show that there were gamers of all age, race, gender, and preference that enjoyed playing videogames. Empire Arcadia was proud to help promote videogames to the gamers of New York and any other city it has visited pushing the culture of gaming to new lengths. See you another time Nintendo.
As the Street Team Promotion ended, an new activity came to the attention of Empire Arcadia. Gaming Night Groove, once again held a party in New York City. Empire Arcadia was on hand for the second time. At the party there were games, drinks, music and more importantly gamers. Gamers of all particular interests from hard core to casual were at the lounge having a good time. Empire Arcadia arrived to have a good time themselves. There they met a young lady called Cynthia who eventually end up joining because she loved the cause Empire Arcadia was about. Also, she already had a friend who inside Empire Arcadia. Triforce met up with the Game Director Job and spoke about how Empire Arcadia enjoyed the lounge. Empire Arcadia was pretty impressed with the lounge set for the community and has future interest for development plans for the community concerning GNG.
Shen~Yin of Empire Arcadia had a couple of interviews with a couple of the people who worked at GNG promoting the community and its culture and how Empire Arcadia helps expose these types of events to the community both small and large. With Empire Arcadia's interest to help make these events bigger than what they can be by Empire Arcadia continues to dig deep into the community providing them with information about these community events. This will help open the small gap that prevents the community of gamers to be aware of such industry events. Some of the members from Valkyries of Arcadia were on hand as well, as they took a photo as for who attended the event.
GNG along with I-games and several sponsors that look to invest their time, concerns and research into the gaming community such as Sammy Studios, Sharp, Fuse, and FCI will be hosting an event at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this Friday Sept. 10th 2004. It will be a weekend event that; Friday through Sunday. On hand will be live performances by Glomag, DJ Prozac and Jesse Mann. Games such as Guilty Gear Isuka will be playable at this event. The best part is that there will be much more going on at this event in terms of games. There is a frag fest PC tournament that will be held there and demo games such as Iron Phoenix; an online combat game soon to be released for the Xbox, Guilty Gear Isuka, Dark Watch and Spy Fiction. I-games will be hosting its 2004 expo as well. Fees for this event will be $12.00 per person, however by Emailing Empire Arcadia; with your address we will send to you a card flyer that will discount your entry fee to $5.00 when presented upon entry of the event. Empire Arcadia will definitely be at attendance to this event and looks forward to seeing you there as well.
As M3, nears Empire Arcadia hosted their final tournament of the summer that leads to M3. The NGC results have arrived, as players attended the tournament both male and female holding well in this comprehensive genre versatile tournament. Hosting 14 different videogames of all different genre's and game play players that participated were set to challenges that would enable them score points, go head to head in fighting games, and race head to head in racing games, giving them the complete package of tournament play and competition. The object of the tournament was to find out the over all gamer when it came to Nintendo type videogames. Below is a list of games that were played at the tournament with the challenges set to each game. This will give you a look at what the competitors had to endure to make it to the end.
Detailed rules per game:
Qualifying pool: No matter how many players are in the pools only 24 may qualify for the actual tournament.
1. Super Mario Brothers: Each player will be given 5 minutes gain as much points as possible. Top 24 scores will qualify to the first round.
Round 1: 24 players will compete in round one, and the scores that these 24 players earned in the pools will follow them into this round. They will earn more points in this round and at the end of the round the scores will be added up. The total amount of points in this round combined with their qualifier points is the total that will be used to judge whether or not they proceed to the next round.
1. Mario Brothers: Each player will be given 5 minutes to gain as much points as possible. (NES/GBA)
2. Super Ghouls & Ghost: Each player will be given 5 minutes accumulate as much points as possible. (SNES)
3. Star Fox 64: Each Player will select 3 to play only. They must gain as much points of all three stages. Each point per enemy destroyed equals 1,000 points. (Nintendo 64)
4. Mario Party 4: Each star earned equals to 50,000 points. Five stars end the game. (Nintendo GameCube)
Round 2: 16 Players have now advanced from Round one, and the scores that they had as a total from round one will follow them into round two. They will earn more points in this round and at the end of the round the scores will be added up. The total amount of points in this round combined with their previous points is the total that will be used to judge whether or not they proceed to the next round.
1. Tetris: Each player will play type B on level 9 with 0 height to finish off 25 lines. Failure to complete task will result in a 0 points. (Game Boy Player)
2. Super Punch Out: Each Player can select any circuit of their choosing, the harder the circuit the more points gained. Each player must play to complete a circuit of their own choosing and gain as much points as they can. (Super Nintendo)
3. Mario Kart 64: 16 man bracket tournament. Four players per circuit. Four brackets. Winner of each bracket advance to final bracket. Final four race for placing. 1st100k - 2nd 50k - 3rd 25k - 4th10k. 5th 5k. (Nintendo 64)
4. Super Smash Brothers Melee: 16 man bracket tournament. Four players Round. Four brackets. Winner of each bracket advance to final bracket. Final four fight for placing. (Or just use default in game tournament) 1st100k - 2nd 50k - 3rd 25k - 4th10k. 5th 5k. (Nintendo Game Cube)

2. Contra 3 the Alien Wars: Players will be teamed together with strongest to weakest player; in terms of points. Each team must complete 3 stages, and the total points combined of the team will be added to each player. (Super Nintendo)
3. Pokemon Puzzle League: 8 man bracket tournament. (1 round only. * One round means one complete battle, all three pokeballs) 1st100k - 2nd 50k - 3rd 25k - 4th10k. 5th 5k. (Nintendo 64)
4. Mario Kart Double Dash: 8 man bracket tournament. (1 circuit only.) Two brackets. Final Round players race for first and second. Second places of the previous rounds battle as well for third and fourth. So there will be a total of 4 rounds. 1st100k - 2nd 50k - 3rd 25k - 4th10k. 5th 5k. (Nintendo Game Cube)
Final Round will assemble the four highest pointed players in the tournament. There scores will be carried over to this final round to gain the last amount of points as possible to be added to there score for a final score.
1. The Legend of Zelda > Four Swords: One mission each rupy is 1,000 points.
Players in order of highest to lowest points will be ranked from 1st to 4th accordingly.
At the end of the tournament there were only three champions and one master. Winners were 4th place Christopher Landon ( Kryemore ), 3rd place Steve Lugo (Kylian), 2nd place Norman Burgess ( Harlem Hero ) and 1st place belong to Triforce . The 11 and a half hour tournament featured many funnies and skilled super plays by tournament players around. NGC has brought birth to a new type of tournament play to the table that has now spawned an event that Empire Arcadia will soon host in the future called, "The Arcadian Games". A new future is coming, get ready.
