BattleField Arcadia: The Empire at War January 13th, 2009
The Empire fends off multiple regions of the Nation.
 



TriForce returns to MAGFest 8 with Empire Arcadia.
The Emperor shows that he still fight with his Knights.

The tenth year of the 21st Century is upon us and in its opening weeks the Empire has already deployed forces around the Nation to combat against aspiring and established professional gamers. The Clone Wars has already begun, let's take a look at the battles that the Empire has won and lost.

The Emperor returns to the BattleField

January 1st 2010, Guinness Record released their 2010 Guinness Record "Gamers Edition" in which TriForce and Royal Lance were both cited in the book for the second year in a row. The two were recognized for a number of world records that include Soul Calibur 4 and Tetris DS. The Emperor of Arcadia was also mentioned along with Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel and Billy Mitchell who are 3 of the 5 gamers in the League or Legendary Gamers.

Three days later TriForce and the Knights of the ARC traveled to Virginia for the 8th annual Music and Games Festival. The Empire although late was able to win 7 tournaments from Classic arcade games like Contra and Vs. Super Mario Bros. to Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6. FightingGM took no prisoners in Tekken 6 as he breezed through the competition straight to the Grand Finals. Sanford Kelly and DieMinion was more than a match for the state of Virginia as DieMinion dispatched his opponents effortlessly only to face his team mate Sanford Kelly in the Grand Finals. The Hustle and Floe

In the Midwest at Frosty Fausting 2, Floe went on a winning spree in a catalog of games as a one man army. Not since team mate Ricky Ortiz has such dominance at one event by a single player in the Empire has been reported. That dominion was only a couple of months ago at Nor Cal Regional. Floe followed in the tradition of the Empire's dominance and showed just what he is capable of doing in his state alone.

Floe won all 3 generations of Street Fighter games from Super Street Fighter 2 HD remix to Street Fighter 3: Third Strike finally Street Fighter 4. If beating down the competition wasn't enough for Floe, the Midwest Champion decided to compete in a Random Game Tournament on emulators to prove the diversity of the gamers there. Floe end up winning the Random Game Tournament with games like Night Warriors: Vampire Hunter, Primal Rage, Micro Machines for SNES, WordTris and Gundam Wing Endless Duel. Return to CES 2010

The 1st Royal Commander Knight Justin Wong made his presence felt at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas when for the second year in a row he played as Capcom's representative and defeated the winner of the Super Street 4

tournament, defending Capcom's crown for the second year in a row. Displaying some of the new moves of both the new and old characters in the game, Justin Wong put on a show for all the fans to see and they can't wait until the 2nd quarter of this year for the game to finally be released.

War On the Virtual BattleField

Citi of Brass and Team Pie held the first North East Online Street Fighter 4 Tournament. The tournament held some of the top East Coast Street Fighter 4 players in contention however the Empire and its "ARC" made itself present even on the virtual BattleField closing out the top 4 positions with DieMinion at 1st,
Evil Rahsaan at 2nd, Perfect Legend at 3rd and finally Jeron "Hiro" Grayson at 4th.

A Kumite Down South

KiT held a Tekken 6 and Street Fighter 4 ($1,000.00) Kumite. The ARC dispatched 3 of its finest Knights to make short work of the contest. Sponsored by GPX Gaming Empire Arcadia took top 3 in both contest. Andre "Jago" Lambert took 1st while Sanford Kelly placed 2nd in Street Fighter 4 and FightingGM took a solid 3rd losing to Little Majin and NYC Fab in the Finals. A Legacy of War

MLG Orlando has come and gone and the WCG National Gears of War 2 Champions, Legacy was at the MLG National with the chance of unifying the National titles. They fell short of glory as the NSAN3S who are now the MLG 2009 Season National Champions sent Legacy to the loser's bracket in a close 3-2 game.

Legacy had a chance to get back into the game but they were once again thwarted by another power house team Type-Z VisioN who plowed through the competition defeating teams 3-0. Legacy fought valiantly but fell 3-2 in the final round of the final game against Type-Z VisioN. Legacy placed 6th over all in the MLG Nationals. Tournament Results: MLG Nationals 2009

A Thousand Duelist Descends upon the Empire

Over 1600 Duelists showed up for the Los Angeles Yu-Gi-Oh Shonen Jump Championship. Ricky Ortiz and Chris Bowling were on hand to compete. Despite Chris Bowling's 4 - 2 record he and Ricky were drowned out in a see of over a thousand gamers. The final match came down to Stephen Silverman and Michael Anderson. Congratulations to Stephen Silverman for defeating Michael Anderson and becoming 2010's first SHONEN JUMP Champion! See Results: Champion

Online Video Game Competition.

The Legend Continues

Up in Michigan, Perfect Legend shows his ability to play both 2D and 3D fighting games at the highest level. The Legend placed 4th in Street Fighter 4, 2nd in Tekken 6 and 1st in a Team competition for SF4. Perfect Legend was the only member of the Empire out at the Ranbat and ensured that the presence of the Empire was felt.

Uzumaki Community

Deadly Alliance's D1 does recon for the Empire in the Anime Community. Naruto tournaments held in New York City are nothing new but it is a area in which the Empire is very unfamiliar with. In the December of 2009 Game Pad Station held a Naruto tournament in which D1 took 2nd place. Since that time he has sharpen his skills and has returned the Uzumaki community (Willvolution communtiy) where he took 1st place in the name of the Empire. Tournament Results: Coney Island Rev 3
