While the Fusion Game Convention staff along with the members of Empire Arcadia ran tournaments for the next 48 hours in the game room other gaming events was going on. The panels that were set this year for Music and Games had some very interesting and involving subjects that were covered
On Friday 1 hour after opening ceremonies panels were scheduled back to back and for some panels they had 2 hour panels.
- 1pm Fixing NSF2MIDI with Dan
- 2pm Dwelling of Duels
- 5pm - 7pm X strike presents: Project SNAKE
- 8pm - 10pm Devil May Cry 3 Project: The Sons of Sparda
- 11pm Name that Tune.
The Sons of Sparda is a recording of the actual game Devil May Cry 3 game. The Gamer/Directors edited his play of the game straight through and incorporated the cut scenes of the game to give it a dynamic cinematic presentation. The game already entertains in the "action" and "cool" department. From Dante blocking bullets fired at him with his bullets fired back to his cool seduction of the female characters in the game to giving his own live rock concert; Devil May Cry 3 is definitely one of the most action packed, gun blazing and dark games out there. Whether it was good or not is something that you will have to find out on your own.
Name that Tune is a traditional social game played among gamers, where someone would play a couple of seconds of old and new videogame songs, music and melodies files. For each time a gamer named the game in which the tune came from they would be awarded a point. The gamer with the most point wins. It is a very addicting tournament and it truly tests the knowledge of a lot of old school gamers. During these panels the ever so hot Gamer rock concert is going was going on as of 7pm until 12 midnight. Half the gamers of the convention could be found either in the tournament room or the rock concert.
This year the rock concert was double booked with some returning bands and some new ones. Wave Theory traditionally returned to give gamers more of what they want to hear. Arguably the best band of them all Wave Theory's proformance was nothing short of stellar this year.
"After I heard 8 bit Pimp at M2, I've been a fan of their creative music. Very few try to innovate in this field of gaming. I would call Wave Theory unrecognized pioneers of the gamer music." - EmperorTFGM
Not to take any credit away from the other bands; the rock concert performers like the Minibosses, The Smash Bros., Sprite Slowdown, The Neskimos, Jake Kaufman & Virt and Shawn Phase all held their own making it very hard to decide which band was the best. Each band coordinated certain presentations along with their music giving each band a unique appeal over other bands. One example is Shawn Phase who is a Rock Gamer who performs with his Power Glove.
"He's like the Triforce of gamer rock music. He can go somewhere with that." -EmpressWyldflower
As 10am Saturday morning rolled around the game room was still busy running tournaments and panels for the second day were underway. The first two panels for Saturday were based on the rock bands.

BS news for Charlottesville Virginia came to cover Music and Games 4. They interviewed a couple of the gamers there, including TFGM and Brendan Becker about M4. Empire Arcadia's Greater Gaming Community Summit along with their second fashion show went well as footage about the fashion show will be hosted on Pod Cast that will be created for Empire Arcadia in the near future. Hosted by TFGM, Midus, Naomi and Wyldflower gamers were very involved and asked a lot of questions to see what Empire Arcadia's take would be on tackling certain issues concerning the gamer culture and community.
At the end of the fashion show a few of the gamers gave notice that gamers should indeed have their own clothing apparel. TFGM promised the gamers that the Empire Arcadia will begin to sell their own brand of gamer apparel in late March of 2006. Gamers were happy to hear that, and bought several promotional pieces of gamer clothing such as winter hats, button down shirts, open collar and polo shirts, baseball shirts at the end of the summit.
The video room constantly had viewers who watched the many different videogame related cartoons and programs the helped develop the filming elements of the gaming community culture. The list was long and brings back a lot of memories for many gamers. Below is a list of what they had to offer.

There was so much to watch and more than enough time to watch them if you were not in tournaments or the concert. Music and Games 4 covers a great deal of so many different elements of gaming and follows true to the traditions of what a gaming convention / festival should be. After members of the Empire finished up with the game room tournaments and Marvelous and Triforce gave out autographs they helped cleaned up the convention and made preparations to return to the Empire State . During the closing ceremony hints were giving out of a possible Music and Games 5 before the year ends. Empire Arcadia is ready for another round whenever wherever.
