NYT (New York - Tokyo) is a company who's mission is to provide exposure of the techno-cool, eye-popping entertainment and production from Japan to the general public in the U.S. Using GNG (Gamers Night Groove) as their medium to host such events, NYT is able to complete there mission statement by creating a very relaxing gaming lounge environment for gamers. GNG has been doing this for a few years now, and now this time they had 3 days of 7,500 feet given to them by the Jacob Javist Center as a venue to exercise their goals. What makes this even better is that it all happened during the New York Comic Convention.
NY Comic Con is one of the official sponsors for the Gamer Pavilion that NYT/GNG was given to host a gamer lounge for the patrons of the comic convention. There were many more sponsors that were involved and help contributed to the mini E3 that the Gamer Pavilion was. Sponsors from Capcom to Redoctane to Namco were all involved in making this event a reality. However with all that said the gaming pavilion was missing something. Content was not the issue as they GNG presented their "Game Accelerated" points to provide the pavilion with an assortment of things to view and read.

With all the content that GNG provided there was still a lack of involvement by the gamers that attended the Gaming Pavilion. Something was still missing and that something was Empire Arcadia. NYT/GNG spoke with Empire Arcadia previously about providing engaging content that would get the gamers involved with what is going on in the pavilion. Empire Arcadia seeing the request as an great opportunity to provide something significant to the comic convention decided to lend a helping hand into the event by sponsoring there time and expertise. With only one day to make preparations before the event, Empire Arcadia staff set up their booth and provided gamers who came to the pavilion with information about the event and all the exhibitors that were on hand. They also provide tournament games and times and took time to interview gamers asking them questions to get a summary of what they liked about the event and what they wanted to see in the future by companies like NYT/GNG and Empire Arcadia Inc.
Thanks to Wyldflower, Arturo, Kreymore, Sebastian Rothwyn, Ultimo Noressi, Inorubian, Prodigy X, The Emperor's Herald, Sir Strange, Marvelous, Jeron, Santhrax, Paladin Zenith and especially Ace who contributed a lot of his time, Xbox 360 equipment and helped Triforce to host interviews with the female gamers. Empire Arcadia was able to keep gamers involved in the gamer pavilion as gamers rocked on to Guitar Hero. John Dumloa ripped up the tunes with William Thompson, Isaiah Sanson and Omar Chavez. Christian Quirindongo and Alex Negron gave the crowd a show with their blistering foot work in "In the Groove 2" but Prodigy X took home the gold by winning the tournament and two In the Groove metal step pads showing that the Empire is not only proficient in fighting games. On the fighting end however Seijo Elepano ranked first in The King of Fighters NeoWave as Ashley Alfaro took out all the guys in Dead or Alive 4 and Santhrax drew the line for the Empire by holding Guilty Gear down.
