With the year still young the Empire positions itself again for another successful campaign in the competitive gaming circuits throughout the various gaming communities and leagues. Finally conquering the state of Virginia the Empire continues it’s (E)mperial siege of the East Coast. Over the weekend Justin “Marvelous” Wong who was recently promoted in the Empire to command the Empire’s most elite gamers “Dynasty of Arcadia”; headed out to the garden state to compete in the “Break Tournament”. Justin took no prisoners in the tournament. Armed with several deadly members of the Empire in various sub divisions such as the $yndicate, The Royal (E)mperial Guard and Philadelphia players like D. Hyo the Break was no match against the might of the Empire yet again.

Placing top five (5) in five (5) of the six (6) tournaments that was held at the Break; Flash, Xecutioner, The Game, D. Hyo and Justin Wong placed the first flag down in New Jersey for the Empire during the month of February. Justin Wong alone won four (4) of the six (6) tournaments.

“Free!”

Back in the Empire State, “Killa Fleet” a strong Smash Brothers Melee group hosted a tournament at web2zone in lower Manhattan. The tournament brought out over 60 players to compete. Smash players this year will take every opportunity to compete in any tournament around the United States due to the induction of Super Smash Bros. Melee in the Evolution 2007 World Fighting Game Tournament. No longer apart of the Pro Circuit for MLG, Smash Brothers Melee is fortunately picked up by many event providers such as SRK, NYCLAN, web2zone and JC Media + Entertainment LLC which will provide a huge event for the Smash Community out in California during the month of March.

For now Killa Fleets and Gauntlets tournaments is more than enough to prepare the hardcore players of the East Coast for any event during this year. PC Chris, Wes and Bum along with the cast of Deadly Alliance (Kubuu, Dire, Ron, Jack, Jason, Mike and Compton) all took web2zone by storm. Although Marcus and company took out number one (1) seeded team on the East Coast PC Chris and Wes, the two were still able to lock down the singles competition ranking in 1st and 5th respectively. Deadly Alliance stood firm to guard the Empire State during the Emperors leave.

“I hate double Shieks”

The Emperor of Arcadia; “TriForce” had left the Empire State to attend a very special gaming event produced by JC Media + Entertainment LLC called “The Iron Man Gaming Event”. The event was created to test the endurance of gamers that would participate in the challenge. The rules for the event were simple; play any game(s) for 48 hours non-stop. The winner would be awarded with a PS3. TriForce decided to attend the event for the Empire to not only win the PS3 but to personally put his over all gaming skill to a test outside of the normal structure of vs. tournaments.

TriForce arrived at the event fully equipped with a specialized Xbox, PS2, Nintendo Game Cube, Nintendo DS and his trusted GameBoy Advance. TriForce managed to keep himself entertained for 24 plus hours as he completed over 50 games in less than a day without continuing on standard difficulty or above. The 30 to 40 plus gamers all fell out in half the time allotted for the event leaving the Emperor to be the last man standing. After the 25th hour JC Media + Entertainment LLC called quits the event and automatically declared TriForce the winner of the event by default.

“I’m glad that I planned to test myself personally against the (CPU) games or I would have been disappointed by the lack of endurance by the (Human) gamers that attended.”

At the end of the event TriForce was interviewed by official JC Media rep “Jinmaster” who at the end of 2006 left Empire Arcadia Inc. for good to help his company create opportunities for gamers in the community. To read see article go here. (Future interview to come)

JC Media + Entertainment LLC has expressed there interest in Empire Arcadia Inc. and has decided to sponsor the company as its exclusive event provider. Empire Arcadia Inc. looks to now ally and endorse the events of JC Media to help in the development of the Greater Gamer Community. With a list of events lined up for the East Coast already (See: Schedules) JC Media + Entertainment LLC looks to push the envelope in gaming competition and events. 

After the interview JC Media + Entertainment LLC took the winner of the event out to a complimentary dinner. However that incidentally led to more gaming for TriForce as they made a pit stop in a local comic book store (Fantom Comics). The venue was randomly holding a Street Fighter casual session. As in any videogame gathering this led to an impromptu tournament which TriForce eked out a victory by coming back out of the losers bracket to take the win. Triforce then shared his prize of comic books which he was given to select with the remaining competitors of the event.

After dinner the following day the Emperor then journeyed back to the Empire State to check on his estate. TriForce then sends word to his highest commanders about the events that took place during his leave in Maryland and now plans a far more serious expansion of the Empire with their new ally JC Media + Entertainment LLC. With in a day a general meeting was held online with some of the Empire's most talented commanders and soldiers. The funding of all the Empire's units through the help of JC Media + Entertainment LLC now puts the Empire in a prime position to exercise its might. With a few key wise moves the Empire is on the verge of greatest but at the same time, the wrong move can spell demise for the Empire. Now the will of the Empire shall truly be tested.
